SPRING SEASON 2025

San Francisco Little League offers gender-inclusive baseball programming to youth ages 4 - 16. SFLL's 2025 spring season will run from February 25 through May 18 (Tee Ball, Farm divisions) or June 1 (Rookie - Majors Divisions).

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES (AGES 4-16)

YOU CAN REGISTER IF YOUR CHILD HAS A BIRTHDATE BETWEEN SEPT 1, 2008 AND AUGUST 31, 2021.

REGISTRATION FOR ALL BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL DIVISIONS will open October 1, 2024 and will close on October 22, 2024, or when a division reaches capacity (whichever comes first). We will accept waitlist sign-ups after the registration window closes. Players must have a birth date between 9/1/2008 AND 8/31/2021 to play baseball in the 2025 Spring season.

REGISTRATION FOR CHALLENGER BASEBALL (BASEBALL FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH PHYSICAL OR COGNITIVE DISABILITIES) will open November 1, 2024 and close on March 1, 2025.

Cancellations & Refunds Policy

Tee Ball

SFLL will refund player fees for cancellation (including medical need), less a $75 administrative fee up to Sunday, January 12, 2025. After January 12, 2025 and up to Sunday January 26, 2025 fees will be refunded less a $125 administrative fee. After January 26, 2024 no player fees will be refunded for cancellation (including medical need).

Farms, Rookie, Minors, Majors, Juniors, Seniors

SFLL will refund player fees for cancellation (including medical need), less a $100 administrative fee up to Sunday, January 12, 2025. After January 12, 2025 and up to Sunday January 26, 2025 fees will be refunded less a $200 administrative fee. After January 26, 2024 no player fees will be refunded for cancellation (including medical need).

Waitlist Players, All Divisions

Any player registered with fees paid who are not placed on a team by the second week of the regular season, will be refunded 100% of their registration fee.

Team Requests

Except for the Tee Ball division, teams are formed through draft selection from individual applications with the primary objective of achieving team parity. SFLL believes that children benefit from playing on a team with players from all over the city. In our experience, carpooling arrangements can be organized among teammates once rosters have been announced.

Register for this division if your child was born between 8/31/2021 and 9/1/2019 and either A) played Tee Ball in Fall 2024; or B) is new to San Francisco Little League/has never played baseball. LEARN MORE & REGISTER

Register for this division if your child was born between 9/1/2017 and 8/31/2019 and either A) played Lower Farm in Fall 2024; or B) played Tee Ball in Spring 2024; or C) is new to SFLL and does not have prior baseball experience. LEARN MORE & REGISTER

UPPER FARM
Register for this division if your child was born between 9/1/2016 and 8/31/2018 and either A) played Upper Farm in Fall 2024; or B) played Lower Farm in Spring 2024; or C) is new to SFLL but has some baseball experience. LEARN MORE & REGISTER

ROOKIE
Register for this division if your child was born between 9/1/2015 and 8/31/2017 and either A) played Rookie in Fall 2024; or B) played Upper Farm in Spring 2024; or C) is new to SFLL but has some baseball experience. LEARN MORE & REGISTER

MINORS AA
Register for this division if your child was born between 9/1/2014 and 8/31/2016 and either A) played Minors AA in Fall 2024; or B) played Rookie in Spring 2024; or C) is new to SFLL and does not have prior baseball experience. LEARN MORE & REGISTER

MINORS AAA
Register for this division if your child was born between 9/1/2013 and 8/31/2015 and either A) played Minors AAA in Fall 2024; or B) played Minors AA in Spring 2024; or C) is new to SFLL but has some baseball experience. LEARN MORE & REGISTER

MAJORS
Register for this division if your child was born between 9/1/2012 and 8/31/2014 and either A) played Majors in Fall 2024; or B) played Minors AAA in Spring 2024 AND will be 12 years old as of August 31, 2025; or C) are new to SFLL AND will be 12 years old as of August 31, 2025. JUNIORS
Register for this division if your child was born between 9/1/2010 and 8/31/2012 and either A) played Juniors in Fall 2024; or B) played Majors in Spring 2024 AND will be 13 years old as of August 31, 2025. LEARN MORE & REGISTER

SFLL does our very best to place all children on our waitlist if we are able. We encourage you to continue your registration even if your division is in Waitlist status. If you are accepted from the waitlist, you will be notified via email.

About Little League Ages

Your player’s league age is determined by the Little League Baseball® and Little League Softball® Age Charts. The dates for baseball and softball are different, but each determines the division in which your Little Leaguer will play this season. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Baseball player is the actual age of a child on August 31 of the current season year. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Softball player is the actual age of a child on December 31 of the previous season year. Learn more.

What is a Skills Evaluation Session (SES)?
SES is not a “tryout"! It's an opportunity for our coaches to evaluate your player's baseball skills to help us place them in a division that is both safe and challenging. Stay tuned for more details about the process and your specific SES appointment day and time later in the month of November.
