Volunteer with SFLL

What you see during your Little League games is a mere fraction of what you can do as a volunteer. With over 1,000 players in our league each season, San Francisco Little League relies on our devoted legion of adult volunteers to help ensure that the organization runs smoothly, and we are always looking to add new members to the team.

Read on to learn about how you can get involved and sign up.  Or to inquire about other opportunities, or if you have a particular skill or talent that you would like to share please email: [email protected].

Coach

SFLL's volunteer coaches are the core of our program.  SFLL's seasonal coaching teams are made up of the parents and guardians, extended family and friends of our players, umpires, and alumni.

SFLL's coaches bring with them a variety of experience levels. SFLL has developed a robust training program including on- and off-field training with seasoned Little League coaches, specialized clinics with local professional coaching partners at San Francisco Baseball Academy, University of San Francisco, and the Positive Coaching Alliance, safety training and certifications and more.  Coaches also have access to online practice plans and resources, as well as ongoing support from our front office team throughout the season.

SFLL provides every team with the equipment necessary for games and practices.  Equipment that will be provided to each team in all divisions includes helmets, bats, balls, throw-down bases, catchers gear (Upper Farm+), umpire gear (Rookie+), and a uniform shirt and hat for each player.
